View From The Quad
View From The Quad is the weekly podcast all about Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Movies, TV and gadgets. Join me weekly as I trawl through the most bizzare news items I can find, interview big name authors and generally have a good time!

The Dream

View From The Quad started off as an attempt to get famous. Sure, it didn't exactly work, but as the cheesy saying goes, Aim High, Fall on the Clouds. Through VFTQ, Cian has interviewed some of his favorite authors, discovered new ones and even went to California!

Today

Today, View From The Quad features weekly bulletins on everything from Science to Technology, Fiction and bizarre news. Visit today at ViewFromTheQuad.com

Sci-Fi

View From The Quad brings you interviews with Sci-fi authors such as Scott Sigler, JC Hutchins and more. It also brings you movie and book reviews, genre gossip and news.

Technology

View From The Quad covers the latest in technology every week, with a slight Apple bias. What are the strangest gadgets out there at the moment? VFTQ knows!

Music

Every so often, you will hear a music track on View From The Quad. Whether it is by George Hrab or Letters Burning, you can be sure that it will be a great choice.

Everything else!

Other topics covered on View From The Quad include world news, horror, fantasy, music tech and software.

What do you enjoy most in life? Chances are if it is either technology or fiction based, View From The Quad has everything you need in an easy to swallow package!
VFTQ started life in 2005 as the Stuff Slasher Saw podcast. It's flagship episode was a review of all three matrix films, given by three people over a terrible microphone. It was hosted on Our Media, and lived on the now long-dead website, StuffSlasherSaw.com.

How things have moved on!

In early 2007, things moved on yet again. The podcast moved to ViewFromTheQuad.com, it's very own domain, and to celebrate, the album art was slightly changed.

The show now had a definite weekly format, with user contribution, interviews and a whole lot of competitions and fun!

In mid 2009, Liz O'Malley joined the VFTQ crew, and the show moved to a two-host format. The Album Art was changed to reflect this, but main subject matter of the show remained mostly the same.
Liz brought her love of politics, bad jokes and sugar to the show, and Cian has had to do twice as much editing ever since.
