Which iPhone Apps should you buy?

Now that Apple seems to have (mostly) appeased geeks by allowing them to install third-party applications on the iPhone, the Next Big Question is, which ones should they purchase for their phones?
While most of us MINERS are too broke to buy an iPhone ourselves, Gizmodo has a constantly-updating Liveblog which may help iPhone fans hack their way through the more useless applications. So far, our favorites are:
  • World 9: Wicked cool. Start the app, put the phone in your pocket and — yes — run and jump about. As you do this, the phone makes Super Mario Bros. sound effects. 1-UP sfx FTW!
  • MPG: This app helps you plan your fuel spending
  • iTunes Remote: Made by Apple, Gizmodo calls this “pretty much the perfect iTunes remote.”
All of these applications are free. There are kajillions more in the iTunes store, as well.
