When we gadget geeks aren’t coveting our shiny iPods, we can usually be found gazing at anything made of glass and chrome, swooning over PS3s and pining at HDTVs behind shop windows. So it should come as no surprise that the moment this link zipped into our inbox, we had to send for the tissues to wipe up the … drool.
Click the above link later; we’ll fill you in here. Technology.17things.com has a list, along with glorious photographs, of some spectacular gadgets. From record players (that look like they are made of water) to tabletop football sets (which would look more at home on a spaceship then in our living rooms), this list has everything a gadget junkie would ever want … if they have a bit too much money on their hands.

Take this $10,000 set of Sony speakers, for instance. These tall cylinders of pure joy are made out of glass. They glow, in true futuristic gadget form, and radiate sound in 360 degrees. We want.
And then there’s the FAK3 360. This wooden cabinet can rotate with just the push of a finger, and is constructed from lovely, lovely dark wood. It can house keyboards, a desk, tons of storage space and a television. Makes us glance at our wallets, worryingly.

And finally, behold the magnificence that is the Ovei home cinema pod. Imagine putting yourself into an escape pod from some far future starcraft. Now put $100,000 worth of sound and video equipment in there with you. Would you even want to be rescued? Kindly keep the pod bay doors closed, HAL.
Yeppers, life is damned good for a gadget lover. Until the significant others see the bank balance, that is.
