TalesOfTheQuad.com is a wiki for attendees of the Centre for the Talented Youth of Ireland, "a youth programme for students between the ages of six and sixteen of high academic ability".
After attending CTYI for two years, Cian was greatly affected by the atmosphere there. It was filled with geeks, nerds, dorks and most every single person he met was beyond awesome. It is safe to say that if Cian had not gone to CTYI, he would not have turned into the podcasting powerhouse he is now.
Feeling that he should give back to the community, he founded a wiki about the experience. Very soon, word got out and through donations, Cian bought a 5 year domain name, TalesOfTheQuad.com. Now, the wiki has many pages and gets huge surges of activity for about a month before, during and up to three months after the CTYI courses end. Stepping down as moderator after become too old to attend, Cian has handed off moderation and hosting duty to one of the other moderators, but still checks in from time to time to make sure that his baby is feeling OK.
